Finding the right network equipment in Malta is not as easy as one may think. I'm not talking about home appliances or network cards here, I'm talking about equipment such as racks/cable management and cabinets for use in businesses or hardcore enthusiasts (like yours truly).
When I wanted to make a rack at home, I searched this island to try and find someone who would give me the equipment I wanted at the right price. This was not easy. Some of the quotes I got were simply outrageous. Others did have reasonable prices but did not have what I wanted in stock.
What did I want?:
1) An 18U rack
2) Shelving to put my servers on
3) Castors
4) Most importantly - a friendly company which would help me make the right choice.
After a lot of searching, InterTek gave me exactly what I wanted.
1) Very affordable prices.
2) Excellent customer support - they answer e-mails very quickly and really get down to the level of the customer to explain what you really need - patiently.
3) High quality equipment.
