My Onvol Sonic account has a 10G/month bandwidth cap.
Since bandwidth is not monitored between 00:00 and 06:00, I queue large downloads to happen overnight.
My usual download speeds during the day can often approach the 4M bps maxiumum throughput, but at 00:01 they fall to around 250 - 300 Kbps.
Anyone else noticed this? |

I can't even listen to a 128kb radio stream during the day on my "sonic" account without it skipping. Download speed measured via dslreports.com is max 200kb instead of 4000.
At night it seems a bit better. I'd say they should change their name to Convol.
On Steam I only get a max of 10 servers with less than 100ms latency and there the max number of players I have found is 4 :( . Anyone care to share their experience with maltacom dsl? I'm considering a change. |
