Hi,
I posted twice without introducing myself (was tired and dissapointed with onvol)
In an attempt to escape the weather in northern Europe, I've finally landed in Malta. I've been here for two weeks now and have to say that it has never been so easy for me to feel at home anywhere else. Hope that I've finally found a place where I will settle down.
I really like the layout and news content on this site. It's a shame though that I only found it after paying my 3 month "Sonic" subscription to Onvol :(
Wherever I've been previously, I used the speedtests at dslreports.com. The max download I got so far is 800kbit (usually 250) but the upload is always good, sometimes faster than the download...lol.
After using TCPOptimizer, I'm at least finally able to listen to web radio and usually watch streaming video without skipping as well.
What would be of real interest to me is a section where other users could post their results and perhaps share what they did with their registry (assuming that most users have Windows). I'll start by posting my results in "The Net" section(later today) and hope others will follow. Maybe this is already being done somewhere else but I'm far from being able to read/write posts in Maltese. |
