PayPal Fully Supports Malta E-mail Print
Written by HiVoltage

For the last few years, Maltese buyers have been able to use PayPal to buy items from several online sellers, especially on eBay. However, when it came to selling your stuff rather than buying, Maltese sellers were not able to receive money on PayPal, because Malta was on the send-only zone. Now, finally, Malta has been added to the list of countries which are fully supported. Anyone in Malta can receive funds on a PayPal account, and then withdraw the money to a credit card - with a modest fee of €2. Maybe now it's time to gather all your junk and start selling!

How can I withdraw a refund which the seller has send on th 8th february 2008

Unfortunately it is not as simple as that. My Bank of Valletta account, for example, has it's billing address in the UK (I am a UK resident but spend a considerable amount of time in Malta). After I was pushed into having a BOV VISA debit card issued to be able to withdraw my EURO income from PAYPAL, I realised PayPal would not accept a billing address other than a Maltese one.

Can someone illuminate me as to what other companies provide a service that can work with a Maltese Account with a foreign billing address?

Why don't you use a UK account then?
