Press Release:
Mobile Monday to Launch in Malta
One gets very little inspiration by just looking at the title of this post. But that would be - to be frank - quite a loss for the reader.
For those interested in things Mobile, this launch event - scheduled on the 14th (a Monday, surely) of September promises to be a blast. Jari Tammisto, and MadanMohan Rao - two international Mobile Visionaries are coming down to the Isle to speak at the Palace Hotel, Sliema, kicking the event at 18.30 pm, sharp.
Mobile Monday is a Global grass roots organisation present in over seventy (70) countries/regions, focusing on the Mobile Industry, where by holding regular live networking events professionals within the Industry, and adjacent ones - like ICT, Entertainment, Publishing, and others - meet regularly to discuss, network, and create value for themselves, and the community.
The effort is completely open-source like. It is free to attend, and partake as speaker. The major aims of such an organisation - and all it's chapters (local instances) are basically to get people together, to promote companies, new ideas, and bring fresh global ideas and services to the local market, and on the flip-side, to help the local market players - established, and budding entrepreneurs - to find partners across the globe through the Mobile Monday Global Network.
If you are an entrepreneur, Mobile Enthusiast, Technology worker, or just plain interested in joining this exciting community, be sure to register your attendance here:
