Vodafone is going to be the first Maltese mobile operator that offers
decent Internet pricing for those subscribers that use prepaid rather
than pay monthly plan. The way it is being presented is that when one
needs to access the Internet, a package can be bought. Although not
official yet, the system should work by sending an SMS to a specific
number, which would deduct the applicable amount from the prepaid
credit.
The pricing is as follows:
Time Window
| Transfer Limit
| Price
| 1 day
| 250 MB
| €1 | 7 days
| 1 GB
| €7
| 30 days
| 3 GB
| €23 |
According to Vodafone customer support, the fine details regarding this service aren't finished yet, but should be available to all Vodafone prepaid customers around the beginning of August.
